Counseling

We believe that Christ is the hope and healing that needs to take place in each person's life.  Counseling takes place once a week.  Some may need only a few sessions while others may need longer.  Healing is a growth process.

Teens and their parents/guardians are required to attend counseling.  The teen will receive counseling separate from the parent/guardian and will not come together for counseling until later in the healing process.

We believe that it is important to put into practice what you are learning in the counseling room.  Homework is essential to bringing about positive, Christ-honoring change.

Parenting Classes

House of Hope believes that when a teen is struggling in a home that it affects the entire home.  Parents/Guardians play an irreplaceable role in their teen's life.  House of Hope offers hope in parenting.  Please check in the Parents Corner for updates.

 RECONNECT

House of Hope believes that days of "reconnecting" with a teen is important and will offer this periodically throughout the year for teens.  This day is ideal for teens and their parents/guardians or even youth groups.  Check news and events or email mindy@wnchouseofhope.org

RECONNECT 2011 Our first annual RECONNECT took place April 17th at Camp Tekoa.  RECONNECT was designed to connect families to each other and most importantly to our Savior.  We had a total of 35 teens and parents that participated. Families worked together through team building.  We climbed the rock wall, canoed, paddled on the paddle boats, and participated in team building games.
